One Thousand Miles in the North Sea

2020: The beginning - from Norway to France with the small sailboat Sardinha

DJI_0012.JPG

In 2020, at 23 years old, Tamara did her first solo sailing project. In Norway, she prepared "Sardinha", an old and small sailboat bought for the price of a bicycle. From Ålesund (Norway) to Dunkerque (France) she dealt with numerous challenges including bad weather, technical issues, systematic discouragement, and emotional twists. This initiatory journey would symbolize a rite of passage and serve as a preparation for the ambitious projects Tamara Klink would later undertake.

This log book was published in Brazil under the titles "Mil Milhas" (One Thousand Miles) and "Um Mundo em Poucas Linhas" (One World in a few lines).

The video series "O mar nos une", published on YouTube, tells this story from boat research and the family skepticism to the arrival in France.
